India’s Tata Electronics partners with Bosch for semiconductor manufacturing

Tata Electronics, a prominent force in India's electronics and semiconductor manufacturing landscape, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Robert Bosch GmbH, a global leader in technology and services. The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together across critical areas within the semiconductor and electronics sectors.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Randhir Thakur, CEO & Managing Director of Tata Electronics, and Dirk Kress, Executive Vice President of Semiconductor Operations at Robert Bosch GmbH.

As part of this agreement, Tata Electronics and Bosch will collaborate on semiconductor chip packaging and manufacturing, leveraging Tata’s upcoming assembly and test facility in Assam and its semiconductor foundry in Gujarat. Additionally, both companies will explore opportunities for joint projects in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), particularly in the field of automotive electronics.
